The Boys and their Dads

The proud Dads showed off their little guys over the weekend. Sam and Holden are excited to start having play dates with Joe (center, the newest little Tar Heel)!

Best Pals

Holden and Sam (two days younger than Holden) had another play date on Sunday and helped their Dads pick their Fantasy Football teams. I am sure this was the first of many Fantasy Football drafts they will attend.

Moving and Grooving

Holden was playing with his new toy from Aunt Kara and was pretty balanced so I decided to see if he would stand on his own. I couldn't believe it when he didn't fall down! Before we know it, he will be running around the house. He is officially rolling over now..and since it is his new favorite thing, he does it all of the time. Have to keep a close eye on him now!

Sitting Tall at 6 months

It's hard to believe, but Holden was 6-months old yesterday. That meant another visit to the pediatrician's office so we got the latest stats on our little guy. He weighs 19 lbs. 2 oz. (80 percentile) and was 27.5 inches long (85 percentile). He is also sitting up, for very brief periods of time. So while this isn't the best picture, we did get him sitting up!

A GREAT Visit to Hampton

On our visit to Hampton this past weekend, Holden got to spend time with his Great Gran and his Great Aunt Janet. As you can imagine, he was a little spoiled over the weekend (not that he isn't spoiled every day)!

A little snip here, a little snip there

It was finally time for a haircut, and I was too nervous to do it. So Jason grabbed the scissors and started clipping away...and clipped a little too much on the sides. It will grow out soon enough, but in the meantime he has nice little lines on the sides. He's still adorable though!

Holden's Entertainment Center

Between the bells to ring, the animal sounds to hear, and the blocks to move around, Holden stays busy in his Entertainment Center. And, he gets his exercise spinning all around!

Here Comes the "Son"

Holden is a Beatles fan, just like his Dad. He was wearing his Beatles outfit from Kristin and listening to "Here Comes the Sun" on his Beatles for Babies CD from Uncle Buddy and Aunt Karen.

Sharing in the Celebration

Thanks to everyone in the family who was here to share in Holden's special day.

Blessings for Holden

Last weekend, Holden was baptized at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Raleigh. Holden did great and enjoyed all of the attention during Mass. He was worn out by the end though and took a little nap on Dad.

Hanging with the Cousins

Fraser (two months older) and Holden were quite a pair with their matching shirts and hats from Great Uncle Buddy and Great Aunt Karen...and Violet sure had her hands full with the two of them! We had to snap the picture quickly though because they didn't keep those hats on for long!

Rolling with Dad

Holden had an audience at Little Gym since Jason and Great Aunt Karen went with us. Jason had Holden doing back flips by the end of class...and you can tell that Holden loved it!

10 Little Toes

Holden LOVES playing with his feet.
And he likes them even more when they are in his mouth!

Feed me, feed me!

It's dinner time in the Jonczak house and Holden is ready to eat! He finally started eating the rice cereal, especially when we had to add a little prune juice to it. And he is like his Mom and Dad and loves bananas! Thanks to the UNC/402 girls for the highchair - I know we will get a lot of use out of it!
