Upon Arrival...

What a surprise! Courtesy of "Nonna" we had a visitor in our front yard! (Looks like storks really do deliver babies!)

Getting ready to go home

Did this woman really just have a baby!? We are getting ready to take Holden to his new home! Michele and I have eagerly been anticipating the arrival of this little guy and hope all of the work
we have done on his room will be well received!
Here is holden in his car seat. Daddy got the a-okay on the car seat inspection, so we're on our way!!

The Craig Family

Holden's great aunt Ginny and great uncle Steve, and cousins Haley and Daniel came by to0! They brought us a great bouquet of flowers that smelled so beautiful. Daniel is going for the rank of Life in Boy Scouts and Hailey continues to wow her teachers in High School! We are looking forward to these two well rounded cousins to be good influences on Holden!

Meet your Uncles

Uncle Adam and Uncle Christopher came to meet their first nephew! They are going to have so much fun playing together. They will both be very good uncles and will look out for Holden and "show him the ropes." Adam is getting ready to get his Eagle Scount and Christopher is planning on playing football in high school again this season. Jason said "it seems like yesterday that I was their age and holding them just like this." It was very nice for Adam and Christopher to come see all of us in the hospital.

Meeting Aimee

Aimee brought Holden the cutest little Monkey hat - he can't wait to show it off! It was so nice for Aimee to come by to see all of us in the hospital. So far, she is Holden's favorite of the Carolina Girls.

Grandma and Grandpa Jonczak

The Jonczak Grandparents, Tony and Sarah, were excited to meet baby Holden! Grandpa Tony reminded Jason that when he was Jason's current age, he had a 15 year old son! Wow!!

The PR Gang

Some of my co-workers were able to come down and meet Holden. The nurse thought it was pretty funny that we "broke all the rules" by exceeding the number of visitors!

Great Gran

Great Gran rushed down from Virginia to be here for Holden's arrival and she made it in plenty of time. She's enjoying spending time with her great grandson!

Great Aunt Elaine

Great Aunt Elaine was one of Holden's first visitors. Holden loves the Pooh bear you brought to him.

Meeting Grandma

Grandma Donna ("Nonna") rushed in from Virginia and was here in time for Holden's arrival. She has been anticipating this day for a long time and was so happy to finally to be able to hold Holden.

Getting to Know Holden

Jason and I spent Tuesday and Wednesday nights in the hospital. Holden and I were getting poked at all hours of the night. The staff at the hospital was doing a fine job of making sure Holden and I were in tip top shape. We had a great experience and a wonderful staff to help take care of all three of us.

It's time!

It's finally time! We arrived at the hospital around 6 pm and we were ready for a long night. Luckily, the baby made it pretty easy on me and at 11:08 pm the baby arrived. We waited in anticipation as the doctor yelled, "It's a Boy!" and after 40weeks and five days we got to meet Holden Brooks. He's weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 21 inches long - he's the sweetest baby we've ever seen.

February 18 and waiting

Baby Jonczak is due today, February 18, but he/she has another plan for us. So we will keep waiting for him/her to finally decide to make a grand entrance.
