Let's go Fishing

We took Holden to the Aquarium on the way home from Atlantic Beach. He couldn't take his eyes off of the fish swimming in the tanks. He looked around for hours and had so much fun talking to the fish. He was wiped out and fell asleep as soon as we put him in the car.

Visiting with Grandma

Grandma (Nonna as she wants to be called) came to Atlantic Beach with us to watch Holden over the weekend. They had a blast going down to the pier to watch the waves and stayed for hours. It's official - Holden loves to be outside and loves the beach just as much as his Mom!

Happy 4 months!

It's hard to believe that our little guy is already 4 months old...actually, he is not so little anymore. At his 4-month check-up, he weighed 16.85 lbs (85th percentile) and was 25.5 inches long (78th percentile). Holden is still working on trying to roll over, and he giggles all the time now. He just found his feet and is working hard to get them in his mouth, but hasn't made it yet.

Happy Father's Day

Happy 1st Father's Day to Jason. Holden wanted to dress like his Daddy for the special day...they look so cute! We had a nice relaxing day to celebrate.

Holden finally had his first dip in the ocean...well, at least his feet touched the water. We took him to Wrightsville Beach for the first time, and he loved it. We look forward to many more trips to the beach.

Visiting Cleaves

We took a trip to Wrightsville Beach to visit Cleaves, Mark and Caroline Rose. Caroline Rose took great care of Holden so I know she is going to be a great big sister. Holden enjoyed his visit to see everyone!

Bumbo

It's a good thing we have the Bumbo because that's the only way we are able to eat dinner. Holden wants to know what's going on so he just sits in the Bumbo and can keep track of everything we are doing.

Rolling over...almost

Holden working hard to roll over. One day soon we are going to walk in and find him on his stomach and know he finally did it. I hope someone is there to see it though!

Big Laughs

Holden and Great Gran had a blast this weekend. His favorite thing to do with her is sit on the back deck and look at all of the birds, squirrels and trees...and tell her all about everything he sees. They had lots of laughs together this weekend!

Baby, Bjorn and Holden

Holden loves getting in the Baby Bjorn. He can see everything that's going on - and he can help Mom when she's doing things around the house.

American Baby

Holden got all dressed up in his American Baby outfit for his first Memorial Day. That means it's officially summer - can't wait!
