Easter Bunny

Holden went to see the Easter bunny today...he was so excited he slept through the whole thing and didn't even open his eyes once. And he looked so adorable in his Hoppy Easter outfit that his Grandma bought him.

Growing Boy!

Our little Holden is not so little anymore. He weighs 10 lbs 9 oz. and is 21 3/4 inches long, putting him in the 50 percentile for weight and 50-75 percentile for height. No wonder he is outgrowing his 0-3 months clothes!

Happy 4 Weeks!

It's hard to believe it, but our little man is 4 weeks old today. To celebrate, Holden had a playdate with his friend Sam. He even went out to dinner with some friends and was the perfect little baby so we were able to enjoy dinner. We look forward to seeing how much he changes over the next 4 weeks!

I love Mommy

Holden loves wearing his "I Love Mommy" outfit! We had a fun time at our mom and baby class this morning, and Holden went on his first visit to Starbucks. It must have worn him out because he has been sleeping all day (which is why I have time to update the blog!).

Little Alligator

Holden loved his little alligator outfit. He got all dressed up to go and visit my co-workers for lunch. They all agreed that he is growing. He already outgrew the newborn clothes and is growing into the 0-3 months clothes!

Off to Work

Holden was hard at work when we went to visit Jason at his office. Holden helped make phone calls and kept everyone in the office entertained. He can't wait to go back to visit.

Play Time!

The Barnyard Animal Activity Mat is a big hit. Holden loves all of the bright colors and the sounds it makes. We've played with the cow, the pig, and his favorite - the chicken that signs.

Say Cheese!

Mom and Dad had our own little photo session with Holden. He did a great job of playing along...and we were able to get a few good pictures before he lost interest.

It's a Hard Life

Holden has it really tough...his days are spent eating and sleeping (and making dirty diapers for mom and dad).

Holden Meets his Cousins

Natalie and Caleb - Holden's cousins - are looking forward to teaching Holden all kinds of things. They can't wait for him to be old enough to play!

Great Grandma Jonczak finally got to meet Holden - her first great grandchild. I have a feeling she is going to spoil our little guy!

Tough Game

Holden got all ready for his first UNC/Duke basketball game...but he was not impressed with the results. He was sound asleep by halftime. I think some of the UNC players might have been sleeping too!

Mom, Dad and Holden

Jason and I were on our own for the first time Saturday and we made it through. We wanted to take a break from the house so we took Holden on his first trip to the mall. He loved it so much he slept the entire time. We might be taking a lot of trips to the mall!

Little Dude...Big Dreams

Holden looks so sassy in his outfit that his Aunt Kara bought him. Too bad he only got to wear for a short time before he decided to get it dirty!

I love my swing!

Holden loves his swing - it puts him right to sleep. Thanks Grandparents Tony and Sarah!

Holden's Ducky

Holden loves his little ducky outfit and duck lovey that his Great Aunt Karen and Great Uncle Buddy gave him. And he looks so cute too!

Holden Meets Sam!

Holden (right) got to meet his first friend, Sam, who was born just two days after Holden. It's going to be a fun football season with these two - and I can only imagine what they are going to get into together a few years from now!

Great Gran

Holden loves his Great Gran!

Wiped Out!

Daddy and Holden are wiped out! It's tough to be a little baby - eating, sleeping and making messy diapers all day! But we are loving every minute of it...even the 2 am feedings!

Our little Man!

Holden likes airplanes just like his Dad! He is being such a great little boy. We could sit and stare at him all day long!

Great Aunt Janet

Holden was excited to meet his Great Aunt Janet who came down from Virginia to meet him. She is going to spoil him!

Go Heels!

Holden was all ready to watch his first UNC basketball game. He must have been the good luck charm because the heels finally won an ACC game! Jason might be in trouble...I think Holden likes basketball as much as I do!

Cutie!

Holden's a cutie! He's bright eyed while his Great-Gran was holding him.

Grandpa came to visit

Grandpa McCord came to visit from Virginia and was so happy to finally meet his first grandson. Holden took an hour nap with his Grandpa so Mommy got to take a nap too!

It's Bath Time!

Holden loved his first sponge bath, and smelled so sweet after it. He looked so cute all wrapped up in his hooded towel!

Aunt Kara

Aunt Kara could hardly wait to get here from Virginia to meet Holden. She bought him all kinds of cute little outfits that he can't wait to show off. He loved spending time with his auntie!
